Please read the conditions of use below carefully, which apply to this online store and all its contents.

Ownership of this online store

The Sharma Jewels store, with the address www.sharmajewels.pt, and all its contents are the property of Pétala Cúmplice Lda.

 

Application

These terms and conditions exclusively determine the contractual relations between the customer and the user of the Sharma Jewels online store and set out its conditions of sale. Sharma Jewels is an e-commerce site dedicated to the national and international sale of Goldsmiths, Jewelers and Watchmakers.

These Terms and Conditions are the only ones that apply, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. We consider that when the order is validated, the customer accepts our conditions and undertakes to respect them.

 

Accurate and up-to-date information

Sharma Jewels will do everything possible to ensure that the products, prices and other content of this online store are always accurate. If under any circumstances it is not possible to provide any of the products requested by the customer, or any information is inaccurate or out of date, whether due to human error or computer failure, Sharma Jewels will contact the customer by email or telephone, and the customer will have the possibility to change or cancel the order, receiving a refund if they have already paid for it.

All the contents of this online store, including products, prices, promotions, and these conditions of use, may be updated at any time by Sharma Jewels, without prior notice.

The photographs of the items on the website are for illustrative purposes only.

 

Prices

The sale prices indicated on the website are in Euros, including VAT at the legal rate in force and excluding shipping costs, which are borne by the customer, charged at the end of the order and depending on the weight of the products selected. For residents outside the European Union, the customs services of the country in question may charge additional customs fees. These fees are not the responsibility of Sharma Jewels and vary from country to country, so we suggest that you check with your country’s customs services before placing an order.

 

Orders

There are two ways to place an order at Sharma Jewels:

  • Via e-mail to: info@sharmajewels.com;
  • Via INTERNET, through the online store;
  • By telephone on (+351) 913 871 163.

To place an order for one or more items in the online store, the customer must select the desired items and confirm the order so that we can process the purchase.

How to order from the online store:

  • Once you have found the product you want, press the “ADD TO CART” button. The product is added to your cart where you can change the quantity or delete it;
  • You can add more products to your cart, whenever you want to check it, click on the cart in the top right corner of your page and a summary of it will be displayed. If you want to see your entire cart or finalize your order, click on “VIEW CART”;
  • To finalize your purchase, click on “FINALIZE ORDER”, confirm your details, address, shipping method, payment method, agree to the terms and conditions and click on the “ORDER WITH PAYMENT REQUIRED” button;
  • After finalizing your order, you will receive an email confirming it.

 

Payment methods

Online store customers can choose between the following payment methods:

  • ATM
  • MB Way;
  • PayPal;
  • VISA;
  • Mastercard;
  • Bank Transfer

Payments by bank transfer will only be considered valid once proof of the transfer has been sent by email and after it has been properly collected. If the transfer is made over the counter at a bank or at an ATM (cash machine), it is essential to send proof of the transfer (e.g. by scanning or taking a digital photo of the receipt).

 

 

 

Availability

Sharma Jewels will meet the deadlines of an order as long as stock is available.

In the event that one of the products ordered is not available, Sharma Jewels will contact the customer by email and/or telephone within 2 days of the date of the order, in order to inform them of the new delivery date for the missing product or, if the customer so wishes, make a full refund of the value of the missing item, if they have already paid for it.

During the time from order to payment, Sharma Jewels reserves the right to sell the item to the first person to receive confirmation of payment. If this happens, the customer will be contacted within 2 days of the order date. If payment has been made, Sharma Jewels will refund the amount.

The order will only be processed once payment has been confirmed.

 

Delivery method

Products purchased from the online store are delivered to mainland Portugal by CTT or carrier. The order will be delivered to the address specified by the customer at the time of purchase.

No deliveries to PO boxes.

If the order is not received within the stated period, the customer will have 24 hours to complain to our Customer Service department by telephone or email at info@sharmajewels.com.

Sharma Jewels will be obliged to refuse any request for a refund or replacement for products that have external defects and that have not been claimed within 24 hours.

We therefore suggest that at the time of delivery:

  1. Check that the packaging is in perfect condition;
  2. Check that the product conforms to the order placed and that it has no visible defects.

By informing us, customers can choose to pick up their order in one of our physical stores at no extra cost.

 

Delivery times

Within mainland Portugal, deliveries take between two and six working days. Overseas, delivery times can be one week (to Europe) or two (to the rest of the world).

During festive periods, such as Christmas and Easter, and the month of August, there may be some delays in sending/receiving orders, due to the closure for vacation/break by the workshops/companies we work with.

The average delivery time for personalized products is 6 weeks.

 

Delivery Guarantee

In the event of loss of registered orders, Sharma Jewels undertakes to reimburse the customer the full value of the order. The customer is responsible for picking up their order in good time if the logistics operator is unable to deliver it by hand.

Damage to deliveries

If your order is not delivered in the best condition, please report the damage to the courier immediately and contact us within 24 hours so that we can activate the transport insurance.

 

Returns and exchanges

In accordance with the provisions of article 10 of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of February 14, the consumer has a period of 14 days from the day on which he acquires physical possession of the goods or the day on which he acquires physical possession of the last good, in the case of several goods ordered in a single order and delivered separately, to return or exchange his order, and without having to state the reason. The Customer is responsible for packaging the products to be returned, as well as the costs of shipping them.

Products must be returned in the same condition as they were sent, i.e. in their original packaging and accompanied by all the accessories that make them up and in a saleable condition. If the packaging is damaged or the products show obvious marks of use, we cannot accept their return.

Exchanges or returns are not accepted for items customized to the customer’s specifications.

To return the order, you can contact us by e-mail or telephone number. If the customer chooses to return the amount paid, it will be refunded using the same payment method.

 

Client’s obligations

The customer undertakes to provide personal details and exact address(es) for the shipment of the products they order, and not to use false identities or provide false information. If there are any problems or additional costs in processing the order due to incorrect or insufficient customer data, the customer will be held responsible.

It is forbidden to sell to anyone under the age of 18.

 

Litigation and Liability

For the resolution of any dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of these conditions, the courts of the district where Sharma Jewels has its registered office shall have jurisdiction. Sharma Jewels shall not be held liable for delays or non-fulfilment of contracts due to force majeure, disruptions, strikes, postal services and means of transport or communication. Sharma Jewels is also not liable for any indirect damage, loss of exploitation, loss of benefit or loss of opportunity.

Items with precious metal are duly marked, in compliance with the RJOC (Legal Framework for Goldsmiths and Assay Offices).

If the customer is in any doubt as to the authenticity of the brands, he may use the services of the Assay Offices for verification purposes.

All the products we sell comply with Portuguese legislation.

Sharma Jewels, the online store, is not responsible for damage caused by interference, interruptions, computer viruses, malfunctions or disconnections of the operating system.

 

Intellectual Property

All Sharma Jewels content (illustrations, texts, titles, brands, images, videos) is the property of Sharma Jewels or its partners. Partial or total reproduction of the content by any means and on any medium is subject to the prior express authorization of Sharma Jewels. Any fraudulent use of the rights obtained by third parties constitutes the crime of counterfeiting, punishable by the Intellectual Property Code.

 

Privacy Policy

Sharma Jewels online store collects the data provided by its customers in a personal database and will not transfer it to third parties or use it for any purpose other than processing orders.

If they wish, customers may at any time exercise their right to access, rectify, update and delete their data, as provided for in the Personal Data Protection Act (General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (EU 2016/679)).

Sharma Jewels, the online store, does not store private data relating to payments made by customers, regardless of the means of payment.

 

After-sales service and warranty

All equipment is guaranteed for 3 years in the event of a manufacturing defect. If the equipment you have purchased has any manufacturing defects or malfunctions, you must notify us. Outside the warranty period, we provide technical assistance, with the associated costs.
